Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Lessons
All lesson bookings are subject to tutor availability. Lessons must be booked in advance. The tutor reserves the right to reschedule or decline bookings if necessary.
2. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued per half-term or as agreed with parents. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice receipt, unless otherwise specified. Lessons may be suspended if payment is not received by the due date. Accepted payment methods will be listed on the invoice or provided upon request.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Lessons cancelled by parents or pupils with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, unless due to illness or emergencies, at the tutor’s discretion. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in future lesson suspension.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only in cases where the tutor cancels a session and rescheduling is not possible, or in exceptional circumstances at the tutor’s discretion. No refunds will be issued for missed lessons without adequate notice.
5. Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructions during lessons. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in lesson termination and loss of future booking.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
All personal information provided for booking and lessons is treated as confidential and will only be used for administrative purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Lesson content and feedback are shared solely with the parent/guardian unless authorised otherwise.
7. Liability
Tutoring is provided to support students’ learning, but no guarantee is made regarding exam outcomes or specific academic results. The tutor is not liable for indirect losses or damages arising from tutoring sessions.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By booking lessons, parents, guardians, and pupils accept the terms and conditions outlined herein. Updates to these terms will be posted on the website and communicated to existing clients.
